Senior Vice President, Business Affairs
Michael Sagan is an experienced executive with an extensive background in data rights, data security and corporate finance.
Before joining Prematics, Mr. Sagan was a Senior Vice President and the General Counsel of IXI Corporation, a sophisticated data and analytics company serving the financial and consumer marketing industries. During his tenure with IXI Corporation, Mr. Sagan successfully structured and negotiated a number of deals with high profile financial institutions and consumer marketing companies. He also managed the company's legal and human resources departments.
Previously, Mr. Sagan was a corporate attorney with Cooley Godward LLP and Hunton & Williams. Mr. Sagan assisted numerous emerging growth companies in the healthcare service and technologies industries with their fundraising, acquisition and joint venture transactions, including venture capital investments, public equity and debt financings, public and private mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Mr. Sagan received his BA in Economics with high honors from Colgate University and his JD with distinction from The George Mason University School of Law, where he was also a Dean's Scholar and member of the Law Review.
