Interactive Design/Documentation Specialist

This reliable and highly secure service empowers physicians at the point-of-care to prescribe the most clinically appropriate and cost effective prescription either using mobile devices or the web via both PDA and desktop applications. By driving patient safety, lowering costs, streamlining fulfillment, and through extensive integrations and partnerships, Prematics delivers benefits to all of the key stakeholders in the drug supply chain including physicians, insurers, employers, pharmacy benefit managers and retail and mail order pharmacies.

Job Summary

Candidates should be self-sufficient, intuitive, strong communicators, and have the ability to react quickly. This position requires a solid understanding of technology solutions and the final design that the end user ultimately experiences. This position requires significant documentation skills that are necessary for the development and management of training manuals for internal and external use, as well as an ability to conduct user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the new release cycles of features and enhancements of the ScriptTone product by conducting user acceptance testing.
    • Ensuring and documenting that the product is functioning as intended.
    • Providing specific user feedback to the QA/PM and PD departments.
  • Documentation of product features and functionality
    • Internally facing for design and development efforts
    • Internally facing for Account Management training and new employee orientation.
    • Externally facing for clients, prescribers and non-clinical users of the application
  • Participate in design of software to meet business requirements in a highly participatory process.
  • Work in highly team and goal oriented environment, proactively taking responsibility to get the job done (no such thing as ‘not my job’).

Desired Experience

  • Minimum Bachelors college degree required
  • 2-3 years recent relevant experience
    • Able to demonstrate through examples work methods and documentation style
    • Able to describe and define contributions to past successful projects
  • Experience in health care or related industry a plus
  • Experience in consumer oriented product development projects
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to successful completion of projects

Location

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to DC area.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (est. approx 10% travel)
