Product Specialist

Title: Product Specialist – Florida

Reporting To: Regional Deployment Manager

Prematics, Inc. is an exciting venture-backed healthcare information technology service provider that has created an easy-to-use, fully managed electronic prescribing service designed for physicians. This reliable and highly secure service empowers physicians at the point-of-care to prescribe the most clinically appropriate and cost effective prescription either using mobile devices or the web via both PDA and desktop applications. By driving patient safety, lowering costs, streamlining fulfillment, and through extensive integrations and partnerships, Prematics delivers benefits to all of the key stakeholders in the drug supply chain including physicians, insurers, employers, pharmacy benefit managers and retail and mail order pharmacies.

Prematics is searching for a Product Specialist who will operate out of Tampa, FL or Miami / Fort Lauderdale, FL. and service the Tampa (Pinellas/Hillsborough) or Miami/Fort Lauderdale (Dade/Broward) Market. The Product Specialist will be responsible for the successfully implementation of the Prematics service in physician practices, including practice workflow assessments, training and “go live” activities in physician practice’s. The Candidate must have a strong customer service background with experience in the healthcare industry as well as technical and troubleshooting skills.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide on-site training of the Prematics service
  • Update records in the Prematics CRM to accurately reflect deployment activities
  • Liaison with appropriate team members to communicate field experience and user feedback
  • Provide quality service

Required Expertise

  • Understanding physician practices, particularly as it relates to the processing of prescriptions
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry working directly with physicians, nurses, and office staff
  • Previous experience in training users of software applications a strong plus
  • Must be a team player

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet goals & deadlines
  • Customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with deployment and/or support of Physician Office Management Information Systems (POMIS) or Electronic Medical Records is a strong plus
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum Associates Degree or relevant experience

Travel: Intra-state travel required.
